Тема:  "to be going to”

Урок английского языка в 5 классе. Закрепление грамматического  выражения "to be going to”, активизация  лексики на тему « школа».

Тема: "I am going…”.

Цель: Развитие навыков устной речи,монологической речи и диалогической речи.Закрепление грамматического выражения "to be going to..”Актуализация лексических единиц на тему «школа».Развитие навыков аудирования, чтения и письма.

Оборудования: интерактивная доска, рисунки,карточки.

Ход урока:

1)Орг.момент.

Teacher :Good morning pupils, good morning our guests!

Pupils: Good morning ,dear teacher.

T:I’m glad to see you!

P: We are glad to see you too!

T:How are you?

P:We are fine, thank you.

T:Pupils, before beginning our lesson let’s train our tongues.

2.Фон .зарядка:

She sells sea-shells on the sea-shore, I’m sure.( 3 раза)

T:Well done. The theme of our lesson is "I’m going to..”.What does it mean? Translate into Russian , please.

P: собираться что-то делать.

3)T:That’s right. Pupils, tell me, please, what are you going to do in the lesson today?

P1:I’m going to read English words.

P2:I’m going to write English words.

P3:I’m going to speak English.

P4; I’m going to answer the questions., etc.,

4)T: Very good. We are going to work hard today. We are going to get good marks. Let’s repeat this expression with all pronounces.

I am going to…                                     We are going to…

You are going to ..                                 They are going to…

He is going to…

She is going to..

It is going to…

5)T: Very good!.Now look at the screen. There are sentences. You should try to put the missing words.

The boy… going to do homework.

My mother … going to cook a cake.

I… going to give the flowers to my teacher.  Etc.,

6) T: Look at the pictures and try to make up sentences .

P1:The cat is going to play the guitar.

P2:The lions are going to dance. Etc.

7)T: Let’s work by raws. The first raw should make up a sentence with this expression and the second raw should remake this sentence to the interrogative  sentence.

1^st raw: He is going to play.

2^nd raw: Is he going to play?   Etc.,

8)T: Let’s work by groups now.

I give you 4 sentences in Russian. You should translate into English.  I give you 3 minutes.

Мы собираемся рисовать на доске. Мама собирается поливать цветы. Я собираюсь носить школьную форму. Они собираются списывать слова. И т.д..,

T: Well done! Now I give you cards. I read you a text you should listen to me and match the right answers.

There are 5 friends in this form. Kate, Jack, Martin, Ann and Sandy. They are very friendly and good boys and girls. They are at home now.

Kate is going to write a letter to her foreign friend. Ann is going to learn a poem by heart. She likes poems. Jack is fond of detective stories. That’s why he is going to read a book. Martin is going to watch hockey. He likes sports. Sandy likes languages. She likes to study. She is going to do her homework.

9)T:Now check your answers by the slide.

You should stand in the raw. The first pupil should whisper a sentence to the second pupil and so on. We check this sentence with the last pupil.

P1:I’m going to read.

"I’d like to tell you about Smirnov’s family. They live in London. They are six in the family: a mother, a father, a brother Tom, a sister Jane, a grandmother Ann and a younger brother Bob. Today is Sunday All family is at home.

The oldest member of the family is a granny. She is 80.The granny is very interested in life. She is very kind. Her favourite  pet is a cat. She is going to cook a very tasty pie.

A father likes fishing. He is a very strong man. He likes sport.  Now he is going to go fishing.

A mother likes flowers. She has a lot of beautiful flowers. At weekends she takes care about them. She is very clever. She knows 4 foreign languages.

Jane likes to make friends by Internet. Now she is going to chat with her friends.

Tom is in the 7^th form. He is very naughty at school. He often jumps and runs between desks and draw funny pictures at the blackboard. That’s why his  parents punished him. Today he is going to do homework and to learn subjects .

Bob is in the 5^th form. e is very clever boy. He gets only good marks. At weekends he usually play puzzles, watch TV, play computer games and do homework. But now he is going to help his mother to water  flowers.

All the members of the family are very friendly and hospitable.

d)There are some words on the blackboard. Many,  Saturday and Sunday, look after, nice, to study, a bad boy, bright, grandmother.

Find the words in the text which have a similar meaning to these words.

11)Письменная работа по прописям.

T:Open your workbooks, find the exercise№   on the page   .

12) Homework .Ex.  p.  by workbooks.
